HELP needed, FEEDBACKS much appreciated

Hi there all,

lately our koperasi have been only doing so-so and has as a matter of fact went downhill. This is due to the new upgrade of our school canteen into a cafeteria.
It's an undeniable fact that the food served has improve at least 2 folds and isn't worth the price. However, as malaysian.. we've never really allowed finance to stop us from eating.
And to add to it, a sudden "brilliant" idea came to their minds (canteen people) goes something like... "hey, why not we sell what koperasi sells? ie chocolates and drinks. Same price or plus a few more cents"
To them , it increases their profits and steals ours.

In my opinion,
it is TRully unfair.
Firstly, they already have the rigths to sell Fried stuff. Moreover, it is not just one variety but plenty. Even more so with the new various fried food, roti canai, burger, fried rice, beehun, soup noodle, economy rice, chicken rice. Is THAT not enough to feed them?

Secondly, they are open everytime of the day. Koperasi is only open during recess. thus, sales are only done then.

I can go on ranting, however, it is not my intension today. No point making all the fuss as if something will come out of it.


Humbly i come to ask for your ideas on how to go about it.

What activities can be done to attract students yet be realistic enough to think of profit wise too.
What do you wish would be sold in a school koperasi?
in what ways will koperasi be more 'student friendly'?

Updating the blog

hello guys,

Guess it has been a long time since we didn't update this blog. hmm, currently, no followers and fans, or even people that view this blog. but, whatever is it, do take some time to look and admire it. haha

you guys may think that 'koperasi' blog must be boring. But, on the reality, its very interesting. we will actually answer all your questions regarding koperasi. what questions? we do not know. only you people, seafieldians know it. so, just view it. we just started the blog, so maybe not that interesting. but, do take some time. come on seafieldians, support Koperasi. haha (lame)

ok, recently we been doing stuffs like packing t-shirts for form 1, sellng stuffs to afternoon session, and even interviewing form 1s. cool right, but maybe to you all, not that cool.

but, have to stop here fr a moment. few days later we will update you guys out there again.

Hi Kawan-kawan,

tak lama sebelum ini, koperasi kami telah dilawati oleh lembaga koperasi SMK USJ 23.

Guru penyalaras, Guru bendahari, dan dua orang ahli lembaga koperasi SMK USJ 23 mengadakan lawatan sambil belajar di sekolah kami.

Dari pihak kami pula, guru penyelaras, bendahari koperasi dan beberapa ahli jawatan berkuasa pelajar telah mengiringi mereka dan mengalu-alukan kedatangan mereka. Dengan besar hati sekali, kami telah cuba untuk memastikan mereka tidak berasa tersisir. Cik Tan telah mengadakan ceramah yang pendek berkaitan perjalanan dan pengurusan koperasi dijalankan di bilik APD. Ceramah itu termasuk latar belakang koperasi kami sehinggalah kepada apa yang kami ada pada hari ini.

Selepas itu, kami telah membawa mereka mengunjuingi koperasi. Memberi sedikit keterangan tentang penyimpanan stok, pengagihan kerja, pengurusan wang, dan sebagainya.

Ahli Lembaga Koperasi SMK USJ 23 sangat bertegur ramah. Mereka tidak berasa segan untuk menanya soalan :) mereka juga mempunyai harga diri yang tinggi.

Selepas itu, mereka dijemput untuk menjamu selera dengan kami di tempat khas guru di kantin sekolah. Makanan seperti bihun goreng dan teh tarik telah hidangkan. Masa itu juga digunakan untuk bercakap dan mengetahui lebih tentang satu sama lain. Makanan yang berlebihan dibungkus dan diberi kepada mereka untuk dibawa balik. Yang lebih diberi kepada pelajar-pelajar yang telah menolong Cik Tan dengan mendirikan blog sejarah.
